3 Snider Students Receive Honors in 2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Avery Edwards, August Grube and Joel Murillo submitted their artworks to to be judged in the 2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the Scholastic Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the United States.

Avery Edwards received a Gold Key and a Honorable Mention. August Grube received a Gold Key, a Silver Key and three Honorable Mentions. Joel Murillo received three Silver Keys and three Honorable mentions.

The Gold Key is the highest regional honor one can receive and Gold Key entries are automatically considered for national awards.
